Consultant Profile
I started KrintelConsult in 2021 and I have since assisted academic groups and pharmaceutical companies big and small.
A major part of my time is spent designing protein constructs and production strategies. Both with the aim of structural determination, structure based design and for biological and in vitro experiments.
Another activity is experimental design in relation to drug development.
I also edit. Regular copy editing with focus on language and understanding as well as substantive editing in which I critically look at the presentation of data and storyline with the aim of shortening the peer review time frame for the manuscript. Editing is something I do for research related to molecular biology, biochemistry and structural biology.
Academic Profile
From a background (Cand. Scient. Biotech) in molecular plant biology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark I earned a Ph.D. in molecular biophysics at Lund University, Sweden in 2008 followed by a 6 year's Post doctoral stay at the University of Copenhagen. I have also worked at a the University of California Davis from 2016 until 2018 with support from the Swedish (VR) and European (ERC) research councils and continued as an Assoc. Researcher at Lund University until 2021.
As such I have extensive experience in molecular biology, protein chemistry, enzyme kinetics, protein-protein interactions, structural biology and X-ray crystallography.
